Ana Konjuh lost against Carina Witthoeft.
Even though she won her second qualifiying match on Tuesday against Jade Windley (7:6, 6:3), German Witthoeft was stronger (2-0).

Ana celebrated her 15th birthday
Holiday season in Konjuh family has an extra day of festivities - Ana has celebrated her 15th birthday on Dec 27th. However, relaxation ends on January the 2nd - when Ana travels to Zagreb to a week of final preparations for Australian Open.
